The 2024 Girls British Internationals darts tournament witnessed an intense battle among the teams representing England, Scotland, and Wales. Despite a tight competition between England and Scotland, it was England who emerged victorious, claiming the title based on superior legs won. Wales displayed determination but finished in third place.

Taking place at the esteemed Glenrothes Recreation and Social Club in Glenrothes, Scotland, this year's tournament promises three days of thrilling darting action, commencing from Friday, April 12th, and concluding on Sunday, April 14th, 2024.
At the heart of the competition lies the fierce rivalry between the participating countries, as each team fields their best players across four categories: Boys, Girls, Ladies, and Men's teams. The British Internationals 2024 comes back to Scotland the competition will take place from the 12th - 14th April 2024 at the Glenrothes Recreation and Social club, South Street, Glenrothes KY7 5NL.

We are pleased to announce that you can now book your accomodation for the 2024 Welsh Open and Classic. The price is £120 per person and booings can be made by calling 03333 238 733 and quoting code “WDRT”.
Whilst we understand that the decision to hold the Welsh open in Pontins, Sand Bay, may be confusing, we ask that all members bear with us.
The closure of the site in Prestatyn after the signing of the contract last May left us in a situation where we had to act quickly to secure a venue and a date for the tournament which would give all our members the fullest opportunity to earn vital WDF ranking points and to ensure that our international team can continue to compete on the world stage.
Part of the contract included a clause that in the event of the site becoming unavailable, we would be offered another site. Failure to comply with the contract would have meant the WDO having to pay out a considerable sum of money that would have had a detrimental effect to all our members.
The Executive Committee has been working around the clock since the announcement of Prestatyn's closure to come to a suitable agreement for all parties and felt this was the best option for all concerned.
We ask that you help is make this weekend a success and work with us to ensure we can provide you with the best opportunities going forward.

Firstly, The Welsh Darts Organisation would like to thank the England Darts Organisation for allowing us to hold this event in England. Without their co-operation Wales would have lost this prestigious event from our calendar and with it our ability to send our International team to compete in the events both home and abroad.
It was with great sadness that the Welsh Darts Organisation received the news of the sudden passing of their former International Player Natalie Evans at the age of 54 years.
Natalie from Cwmllynfell in the Swansea Valley represented Wales 15 times, winning on 7 occasions while playing her County Darts with Breconshire.
She played for Breconshire for 30 years making over 350 appearances for the Mid-Wales County in the BDO Inter-County Championship, the UKDA National League, and the Welsh Inter-County Championships.
Our Condolences go to all her family and friends at these sad times.

The WDO are aware of the devastating news today that Pontins Holiday Park in Prestatyn will be closed with immediate effect.
We are looking into the situation and will have some news soon, as soon as we have an update regarding the Welsh Open and the Inter-county championship we will let you all know.

In view of the World Darts Federation's decision to cancel the 2023 World Masters Championships, the Welsh Darts Organisation has decided to invite the 96 (64 men / 32 women) County Qualifiers in the afore-mentioned cancelled event to participate in a Welsh Darts Organisation Men's and Women's Members Singles Championship.
These Championship will be held on Saturday 9th September 2023 at the Thomastown Social Club, Kosy Hall, Francis Street, Thomastown, Porth, RCT, CF39 8DS, the date and venue originally allocated for the Wales Finals of the WDF World Masters.
The Total Prize Money for these Members Singles will be as follows:-
MEN = £1,390.00
WOMEN = £1,000.00
The Welsh Team has been selected to represent Wales at the 2023 WDF World Cup in Denmark.
The 2023 WDF Six Nations Cup 2023 takes place from 16th - 18th June hosted by The Northern Ireland Darts Organisation at The Nortel Social Club, Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland.

Due circumstances beyond their control the Welsh Darts Organisation have changed the dates of the of the Red Dragon Welsh Individual Grand Finals and the 'Wales' Play-Off Finals of the WDF World Masters 2023.
I am pleased to announce that the Welsh Darts Organisation Open weekend for 2024 will be held once again at Pontin's Prestatyn, Denbighshire, North Wales. from Thursday 9th May to Sunday 12th May.

Martyn Turner is the 2023 Welsh Open Men's Singles Champion with a 5-3 victiory in the final over Cliff Prior at Pontins Prestatyn. Martyn's average was 76.50 and Cliff's was 71.86.
After winning the Welsh Open Ladies Pairs with Deta Hedman on Friday, the Mixed pairs on Saturday with Taylor Greaves and earlier this evening the Welsh Classic Ladies Singles title, Beau now makes it four, winning the 2023 Welsh Open Ladies Singles Title with a 5-3 victiory over Rhian O'Sullivan in the final at Pontins Prestatyn. Beau's average was 77.45 and Rhian's was 79.90.
Thomas Banks makes it a double, after winning the Welsh Classic Youth tile earlier in the evening Thomas added the 2023 Welsh Open Boys Singles title claiming victiory over Fabian Tapner 4-0 in the final at Pontins Prestatyn. Thomas's average was 74.22 and Fabian's was 57.35.
Paige Pauling takes the 2023 Welsh Open Girls Singles title with a 4-2 victiory over Sophie McKinlay in the final at Pontins Prestatyn. Paige's average was 73.12 and Sophie's was 69.37.
