The young star showed her class throughout the day, closing out the tournament with a flawless 4–0 victory over Yazmine Ruck-Havard in the final.
Pauling was in top form from start to finish, averaging 77.08 in the final, combining consistent scoring and clinical finishing to take the title without dropping a single leg. Ruck-Havard, who averaged 60.24, battled hard but was unable to find a way through Pauling’s relentless pressure.
The semi-finals earlier in the day saw Pauling defeat Taylor Field 3–0 with a 67.30 average, while Ruck-Havard overcame Olivia Heaton 3–0, averaging 62.63 against Heaton’s 57.65.
For Olivia, it was an especially memorable performance. Competing in her first WDF world-ranked event, she advanced from her group in second place behind eventual champion Paige Pauling to secure a spot in the semi-finals — a result that underlines her potential as a rising talent in the sport.
